Good day out there in Stomping-Ground-land. This is Stomping Ground's official blog post to inform all ya'll that we've entered the Toronto 48-Hour Film Challenge (http://torontofilmchallenge.com/) this Nov 12 - 14. We've got an awesome crew lined up featuring a great combo of the usual suspects and new faces to the Stomping Ground team!

The challenge gives teams 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and finish a 6-8 minute short film. Yeah, you heard that right - 48 hours! Needless to say, we're all pretty jazzed/terrified.

If you're in the Toronto area, look out for the screenings that take place after the 14th (Nov 17 - Screenings at Bloor Cinema and Nov 27 - Gala at London Tap House), and come on out and see what we can do when our feet are put to the fire!

Hey all;
Just a quick update from STOMPING GROUND central. This is gonna be a busy winter for us here at SG, and we wanted to let you guys know what tyo look forward to in the coming months.

First, we're going to produce the horror short, "dIePod".

One man discovers that the ghost is indeed - in the machine.

After that, we'll be shooting the much more ambitious "Snowfall".

"Snowfall"
An intergalactic mercenary finds himself stranded on an isolated, snow-covered planet. Is he alone? What will he have to do to try and survive?

And as always, Spacenoiz will be providing music and art as he works his way through the production of his new album. Check back here for more tastes of what's to come from one of Toronto's most relevant musicians.

It's gonna be an exciting winter here on STOMPING GROUND. Keep your eyes on this space!
